Regular Season: The Year of the Gut Punch

Adil's Talkin Tua Teenager led the league at 10-4 with 1,861 points chasing the threepeat. Behind him, chaos: Omar A.'s MARLBURROW REDS scored 1,803 and grabbed the 2-seed, Yousef made his annual playoff reservation, and EIGHT teams finished within a game of .500. The new guy Aziz sat at 7-7 with the 6-seed and, quietly, the best point differential in the entire league (+222) — a warning sign everyone ignored. Omar H. cratered to 4-10 and a date with the Milk Mile. And Zaid went 5-9 for the second consecutive year while proposing a league-record volume of trades, a combination the booth has decided to call 'passionate incompetence.'

Playoffs

Playoffs: The Heist

Round one: Okashah went on the road and beat Karim, Aziz clipped Yousef 121.3-110.0 (Yousef's third straight playoff exit, for those keeping a ledger), and 7-seed Tarick stunned Omar A. by 1.3 points in the week's best comedy. Semis: Okashah ended Adil's threepeat 162.5-157.3 in a genuine classic, while Aziz obliterated Tarick 199.3-79.2 — a 120.1-point margin in a semifinal, which is not a playoff game so much as a public safety incident. The final: Aziz 126.3, Okashah 114.2. The new guy, from the 6-seed, powered by the Malik Nabers trade he pulled off against the two-time champ in Week 2. Okashah became a two-time runner-up in two seasons. Aziz became the reason Adil doesn't answer trade calls anymore.

2024SEASON REVIEW
Regular Season

Regular Season: Parity and Its Discontents

Yousef did it again: 11-3, the 1-seed, and a full season of everyone telling him this was finally the year. Ahmad's Lucy's Finest broke out at 9-5 with a league-best 1,927 points, and newcomer Okashah announced himself at 8-6. Below them, a swamp: four teams at 7-7, including champion-in-waiting Adil, who spent fourteen weeks doing an extended impression of a mediocre team. Zaid went 5-9 while executing more trades than several NFL front offices, proving conclusively that motion is not progress. Karim also went 5-9 while losing 12 waiver claims along the way, a level of activity-to-results mismatch that deserves its own documentary.

Playoffs

Playoffs: The Repeat, Loudly

Adil, the 5-seed at 7-7, chose December to remember he was the champ. He dropped 168.9 on Omar A. in round one, then went into 1-seed Yousef's building and hung 186.5 on him — Yousef managed 115.2, and two straight years of number-one seeds officially became two straight playoff funerals. Meanwhile Okashah ground past Adel and outlasted Ahmad 160.4-146.5 to reach the final in his first season. The championship was a shootout in name only: Adil 188.5, Okashah 160.4. Three playoff games, three completely nuclear scores, back-to-back titles. Everything before Week 15 was apparently a bit.

2023SEASON REVIEW
Regular Season

Regular Season: The Founding Fourteen

Fourteen weeks of inaugural football and one clear bully: Yousef's McCafre went 11-3 with 1,924 points, including a 224.8 in Week 8 that remains the highest score in league history — a number so obscene the rest of the league should have taken it as a threat. Adil quietly stacked wins at 10-4, Zaid and Issa both hit 9-5, and a three-car pileup of 7-7 teams (Karim, Omar H., Hamed) jockeyed for the last playoff spots. At the bottom, Tarick's Balls Deep went 3-11 and Ahmad wasn't much better at 4-10. The lesson of year one: scoring wins weeks, but December wins banners.

Playoffs

Playoffs: The First Coronation

The 7-seed Hamed walked into Adil's building in the semis round one and got buried 143.0-116.4. Karim upset Issa, then ran into the Yousef buzzsaw, 138.1-100.2. Omar H. put up a real fight in the semifinal but Adil's 149.2 ended it. So the final: 1-seed Yousef, the league's overwhelming points leader, against 2-seed Adil. And Adil detonated 186.7 on him — Yousef's 142.3 would have beaten almost anyone else that week, which is the cruelest sentence in this recap. Adil, your inaugural champion. Yousef, your inaugural cautionary tale.
