SEASON 2025

WEEK 7

Week HighOmar A.167.8
Week LowOkashah68.9
THE WEEKLY REPORT: twelve teams, six games, zero accountability.

Yousef put 141.7 on Issa in a 49.9-point mugging that should interest law enforcement. Zaid hung 158.1 on Mustafa and never looked back, winning by 40.6 in the week's designated execution. Omar A. beat Adil 167.8-140.0, and the less said about the loser's flex spot, the kinder. Tarick dispatched Omar H. 137.6-118.3 with the ruthless efficiency of a man deleting spam. Ahmad got past Okashah, 87.7-68.9, in a game the tape will file under 'fine, whatever'. Karim survived Aziz by 3.2, and both benches deserve subpoenas over it.

Week's best: Omar A. with 167.8. Briefly competent. Mark the calendar. Week's worst: Okashah with 68.9. Twelve managers, and one of them scored THAT.

Karim lost 2 waiver claims this week, which takes a special commitment to being second.

Big picture: Yousef remains the points leader, and Issa is pacing the field in the race nobody wants to win.

THIS WEEK IN LEAGUE HISTORY: This week in 2023: Adel handled Adil, 149.0-130.8. History remembers the winners. Barely. In 2024, Okashah dropped 150.1 on Omar H. in this same week — a public execution the league still references.

That's the report. Complaints can be filed directly into the group chat where they belong.

Mustafa
(Forbes 30 Under 5'5)
117.5@158.1
Zaid
(Milk Nabers)
Pregame · The Booth

Grab your popcorn. One of these rosters was built by a genius, the other by a group chat dare. Mustafa rolls in at 4-2 while Zaid is dragging a 2-4 record behind them like a busted trailer hitch. The metrics say mismatch. The metrics are being polite. My prediction? Pain. Beautifully quantifiable pain.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Milk Nabers 158.1, Forbes 30 Under 5'5 117.5. That wasn't a matchup, that was a public service announcement about roster construction. Upset alert delivered. Milk Nabers (2-4) just clipped Forbes 30 Under 5'5 (4-2), and I want you to know Mustafa absolutely saw this coming and started the wrong guys anyway. Zaid improves to 3-4. Credit where due, and I do mean the bare minimum of credit. As for Mustafa: 4-3 now. At some point it stops being bad luck and starts being a body of work.

Ahmad
(Juicy Lucy)
87.7@68.9
Okashah
(Mohammad's Dolphins Team)
Pregame · The Booth

I've broken down the matchups. One of them broke down right back. Mohammad's Dolphins Team (2-4) versus Juicy Lucy (3-3). Vegas calls this a pick'em. I call it mutually assured mediocrity. Ahmad has dropped 3 in a row, a stretch of football so bleak the league office considered a wellness check. Let's see whose projections were lies.

Postgame · The Booth

87.7-68.9, Juicy Lucy over Mohammad's Dolphins Team. A professional beating. Not a memorable one, just a thorough one. A combined 156.6 points. I've covered scoreless soccer friendlies with more offense. Both lineups should apologize to the sport. Okashah's 68.9 was the lowest score in the league this week. The LOWEST. Out of twelve teams. I need everyone to sit with that. Ahmad improves to 4-3. Credit where due, and I do mean the bare minimum of credit. Okashah is now 2-5, and the tape suggests that's generous.

Adil
(Talkin Tua Teenager)
140.0@167.8
Omar A.
(MARLBURROW REDS)
Pregame · The Booth

The film doesn't lie, and unfortunately for one of these teams, I've watched it. Adil rolls in at 5-1 while Omar is dragging a 3-3 record behind them like a busted trailer hitch. The metrics say mismatch. The metrics are being polite. My prediction? Pain. Beautifully quantifiable pain.

Postgame · The Booth

167.8-140.0, MARLBURROW REDS over Talkin Tua Teenager. A professional beating. Not a memorable one, just a thorough one. Upset alert delivered. MARLBURROW REDS (3-3) just clipped Talkin Tua Teenager (5-1), and I want you to know Adil absolutely saw this coming and started the wrong guys anyway. 307.8 combined points. Somewhere a defensive coordinator is weeping, and neither of these managers cares. That 167.8 from MARLBURROW REDS led the entire league this week. Even I have to tip the cap. Briefly. It's back on now. Omar moves to 4-3. A real analyst would call that momentum. I'll call it a stay of execution. Adil falls to 5-2. The good news: it can't get worse. The bad news: I said that last week too.

Issa
(Shamjesus)
91.8@141.7
Yousef
(Drake and Josh)
Pregame · The Booth

Welcome back to the only league where the tape never lies and neither do I. Yousef rolls in at 3-3 while Issa is dragging a 1-5 record behind them like a busted trailer hitch. The metrics say mismatch. The metrics are being polite. Shamjesus has lost 3 straight, which by my math is 3 more consecutive losses than a competently managed franchise should allow. On to the action, where the points are made up and the projections don't matter.

Postgame · The Booth

Drake and Josh 141.7, Shamjesus 91.8. In the film room we call that a 'teaching tape.' Issa, you were the lesson. Yousef climbs to 4-3, and for one week, the film room has nothing bad to say. Enjoy the silence. Issa is now 1-6, and the tape suggests that's generous.

Tarick
(Shia Killer)
137.6@118.3
Omar H.
(Follicle Failure)
Pregame · The Booth

You wanted analysis. I brought a scalpel. The spread on this one is roughly Tarick's ego, which is to say: enormous. 5-1 against 2-4 doesn't lie. Shia Killer rides a 3-game heater into this one. Regression is undefeated, but sure, enjoy the moment. My prediction? Pain. Beautifully quantifiable pain.

Postgame · The Booth

Shia Killer handles business, 137.6-118.3. Omar will tell you it was closer than the score. The score disagrees, and the score was there. Tarick moves to 6-1. A real analyst would call that momentum. I'll call it a stay of execution. Omar is now 2-5, and the tape suggests that's generous.

Aziz
(Fourth and Bald)
124.0@127.2
Karim
(Band$ Emeka Dance)
Pregame · The Booth

Welcome back to the only league where the tape never lies and neither do I. Band$ Emeka Dance (3-3) versus Fourth and Bald (3-3). Vegas calls this a pick'em. I call it mutually assured mediocrity. Karim has won 3 straight, and has started walking around like they invented zone-read analytics. Somebody tell the benches to stay warm. They usually outscore the starters around here.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Band$ Emeka Dance survives Fourth and Bald, 127.2-124.0. A 3.2-point margin. That's not a win, that's a coin flip with better marketing. Karim climbs to 4-3, and for one week, the film room has nothing bad to say. Enjoy the silence. Aziz falls to 3-4. The good news: it can't get worse. The bad news: I said that last week too.
