SEASON 2025

WEEK 1

Week HighYousef135.3
Week LowMustafa74.4
THE WEEKLY REPORT: twelve teams, six games, zero accountability.

Yousef annihilated Omar H. by 35.9, a score differential normally reserved for scrimmages against air. Ahmad beat Omar A. 119.0-89.7 and nobody will remember it by Thursday. Okashah got past Mustafa, 95.1-74.4, in a game the tape will file under 'fine, whatever'. Adil handled Aziz, 135.1-116.6, in a game with all the drama of a scheduled oil change. Zaid escaped Issa by 6.1 points, the fantasy equivalent of a field goal as time expires. Tarick survived Karim by 0.4, and both benches deserve subpoenas over it.

Yousef dropped a league-best 135.3, which buys exactly one week of trash talk credit. Week's worst: Mustafa with 74.4. Twelve managers, and one of them scored THAT.

THIS WEEK IN LEAGUE HISTORY: Week 1 of 2023: Zaid beat Ahmad by 71.1, a beating the tape still uses as training material. This week in 2024: Omar A. handled Issa, 150.1-124.0. History remembers the winners. Barely.

Set your lineups. Or don't. It's clearly optional for some of you.

Adil
(Talkin Tua Teenager)
135.1@116.6
Aziz
(Fourth and Bald)
Pregame · The Booth

Welcome back to the only league where the tape never lies and neither do I. Fourth and Bald and Talkin Tua Teenager open the 2025 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. My prediction? Pain. Beautifully quantifiable pain.

Postgame · The Booth

Talkin Tua Teenager handles business, 135.1-116.6. Aziz will tell you it was closer than the score. The score disagrees, and the score was there. Adil moves to 1-0. A real analyst would call that momentum. I'll call it a stay of execution. As for Aziz: 0-1 now. At some point it stops being bad luck and starts being a body of work.

Karim
(Band$ Emeka Dance)
125.2@125.6
Tarick
(Shia Killer)
Pregame · The Booth

You wanted analysis. I brought a scalpel. Shia Killer and Band$ Emeka Dance open the 2025 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. On to the action, where the points are made up and the projections don't matter.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Shia Killer survives Band$ Emeka Dance, 125.6-125.2. A 0.4-point margin. That's not a win, that's a coin flip with better marketing. Tarick improves to 1-0. Credit where due, and I do mean the bare minimum of credit. Karim falls to 0-1. The good news: it can't get worse. The bad news: I said that last week too.

Omar H.
(Follicle Failure)
99.4@135.3
Yousef
(Drake and Josh)
Pregame · The Booth

You wanted analysis. I brought a scalpel. Drake and Josh and Follicle Failure open the 2025 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. On to the action, where the points are made up and the projections don't matter.

Postgame · The Booth

Drake and Josh handles business, 135.3-99.4. Omar will tell you it was closer than the score. The score disagrees, and the score was there. Yousef's 135.3 was the top score in the league this week. Enjoy it. Peaks like this are usually followed by cliffs. Yousef improves to 1-0. Credit where due, and I do mean the bare minimum of credit. As for Omar: 0-1 now. At some point it stops being bad luck and starts being a body of work.

Zaid
(Milk Nabers)
126.8@120.7
Issa
(Shamjesus)
Pregame · The Booth

Another week, another chance for these two to embarrass their draft boards. Shamjesus and Milk Nabers open the 2025 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. On to the action, where the points are made up and the projections don't matter.

Postgame · The Booth

126.8-120.7, Milk Nabers over Shamjesus. A professional beating. Not a memorable one, just a thorough one. Zaid moves to 1-0. A real analyst would call that momentum. I'll call it a stay of execution. Issa is now 0-1, and the tape suggests that's generous.

Omar A.
(MARLBURROW REDS)
89.7@119.0
Ahmad
(Juicy Lucy)
Pregame · The Booth

Strap in, folks. Somebody's week is about to be ruined, and I get paid to watch. Juicy Lucy and MARLBURROW REDS open the 2025 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. Somebody tell the benches to stay warm. They usually outscore the starters around here.

Postgame · The Booth

FINAL: Juicy Lucy 119.0, MARLBURROW REDS 89.7. Workmanlike win for Ahmad. Nothing pretty about it, but neither is this league. Ahmad improves to 1-0. Credit where due, and I do mean the bare minimum of credit. Omar is now 0-1, and the tape suggests that's generous.

Okashah
(Mohammad's Dolphins Team)
95.1@74.4
Mustafa
(Forbes 30 Under 5'5)
Pregame · The Booth

Another week, another chance for these two to embarrass their draft boards. Forbes 30 Under 5'5 and Mohammad's Dolphins Team open the 2025 campaign with clean records and dirty secrets on their benches. Enjoy the optimism. It won't last. Kickoff's coming. Set your lineups, say your prayers.

Postgame · The Booth

Mohammad's Dolphins Team handles business, 95.1-74.4. Mustafa will tell you it was closer than the score. The score disagrees, and the score was there. 169.5 total points between them. The real loser here was every single person who watched. Forbes 30 Under 5'5 posted 74.4, the league's worst mark of the week. Frame it. Study it. Never speak of it again. Okashah climbs to 1-0, and for one week, the film room has nothing bad to say. Enjoy the silence. Mustafa drops to 0-1 and is officially in 'blame the projections' territory.
